We went to see Avenue Q at the Hippodrome last weekend. The play was terrific. But a little disturbing. Because, as it turns out, Natty and Trekkie Monster are separated at birth:

Sixty blindfolded photographers bumbling around the top of Federal Hill taking pictures of darkness before tumbling to their peril on the busy Key Highway below.
The event, hosted by the American Visionary Arts Museum, promoted the book Seeing Beyond Sight: Photographs by Blind Teenagers.

As an aside, it’s a bit unnerving that they’re better than many of my not-blindfolded photos.
There are no words that can possibly describe the Night of 100 Elvises at the Lithuanian Social Hall. Except to say that this was pure Baltimore.

Last Thursday there was an all out monsoon.
Thanks to everyone who’s taken the time to post comments and sorry to everyone whose notes haven’t shown up on the site.
After some serious noodling with the settings on blogger, I think I’ve finally fixed the comments problems.
In theory, blogger is going to e-mail me anytime someone posts a comment and I just have to click approve and, POOF, it’s posted. So if you send a comment, it should get posted within a day.
In theory.
That said, I have the technical prowess of a retarded hippo. So no guarantees.
